Seeing Food is an exhibition of oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, quilts, glass, video, and digital photographs by 13 Montgomery County artists. This showcase explores the way we view, interact with, and are affected by food. It will be open to the public daily, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM until Friday, May 24, 2013.

Young artists will love this fun and engaging class that will have them drawing, painting, and sculpting. Shape, texture, and color will all be explored as students work in two and three-dimensional forms through a variety of media. Come and CREATE with us!

Imagine putting on a smock with your favorite toddler and enjoying an hour dedicated to making art together. Two and three year olds and their adult pal (Mom? Dad? A favorite aunt or uncle?) will paint side by side. Set your young pal on the colorful path of making art and rediscover your own inner artist!

Artists will explore color, shape, and texture through two and three-dimensional projects. Students will explore a variety of media, which may include pencils, oil and chalk pastels, watercolor, tempera paint, and much more. Come and CREATE with us!

Children will explore a variety of media in this beginners class that encourages and focuses their interests in drawing, painting, and sculpture. Artists will explore color, shape, and texture through two and three-dimensional projects. Our artists may be young in this studio class, but we have plenty of room for great big creative ideas! Over the course of the session, students will work with pencil, marker, paint, clay, paper, and recycled materials.
