Coordinated by artist Sally Brucker and poet Anne Becker, artists and refugees discuss their collaboration and methods used in The Listening Room. At 7 pm, Playback Theatre will present a special program in honor of the refugees. A reception will immediately follow the play at 8:30.

Writer's Center staff poetry and prose reading. Staff members reading will include Stewart Moss, Jill Leininger, Laura Spencer, Zachary Fernebok, Genevieve Deleon and Sunil Freeman. The reading will be followed by a reception.

You'll learn the basics needed to take the photographs you want! Bring your own Digital SLR camera and learn with hands-on instruction. You'll learn camera functions, composition, depth of field, exposure, avoiding common mistakes, the use of available light, and more. This workshop meets for four sessions, three hours for each session. During the third session, classes will meet for a field trip. Weeknight classes will meet on a Saturday for their third session. Upon conclusion of the workshop, you'll leave with a better understanding of your equipment, how to compose images, and more confidently take the photographs you envision.
