Your body is an amazing work of art! Each month, the National Museum of Health and Medicine will focus on a different organ. In August, learn about basic kidney function and diseases that affect the kidneys. After a brief lesson, attendees will create their own visual representations of the kidneys. To kick off the 2012-2013 season, young artists from Damascus UMC, the Academy of St. Cecilia Youth Orchestra, and the community will share their musical gifts in this annual concert favorite. Performers include Micah Tsoi, piano, who performed at Constitution Hall in NYC last year; Judith Tsoi, violin; Julia Bratburd, voice; Marin Williams, bassoon; TJ Murray, bass; Matthew Fitzsimmons, trumpet; Dane Frandsen, flute; Graham Taylor, voice; and Laura Searles, violin and voice. Katherine Williams and Stephen Kalnoske will accompany these talented young performers. FREE WILL OFFERING will support Worship Arts programming at Damascus UMC.
