The ninth annual Silver Spring Jazz Festival will be held Saturday, September 8 in downtown Silver Spring on Veterans Plaza at Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive. The free, outdoor program that has starred Wynton Marsalis, Aaron Neville and Arturo Sandoval, among others, kicks off at 4:30 pm and continues until 10pm. Grammy™ award winning and Academy Award™ nominated Sergio Mendes is the featured headliner!
