DMV’s favorite food trucks will head to Wheaton, MD to dish out some of the region’s best barbecue, crab cakes, cheesecakes and other tasty eats at the Curbside Cookoff food truck festival. Download the flyer here. Curbside Cookoff will take place at the Wheaton Triangle (Reedie Drive and Grandview Avenue), one block from the Wheaton Metro stop. Curbside Cookoff features: 20 of the DMV’s favorite food trucks CBS Radio, official radio sponsor of Curbside Cookoff Craft beer garden featuring over 2 dozen specialty beers sponsored by The Exchange at Wheaton Station including DC Brau Public Ale, Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, Heavy Seas Loose Cannon and Magic Hat #9 Six Flags America sponsored contests and interactive activities featuring games DMVFTA sponsored giveaways Truck competitions Discounted tickets for 10 craft beer tastings for just $20 are available at http://curbsidecookoff.eventbrite.com The festival is being co-sponsored by the Wheaton Urban District of Montgomery County and will benefit Mid-County United Ministries (MUM) a local charity that helps people in crisis in the Wheaton, Kensington and Aspen Hill communities with food, medicine, eviction prevention and utilities, emphasizing client choice, problem-solving and self-sufficiency.
