Young, orphaned James Trotter is sent to live with his two wicked aunts by the sea. Life with Sponge and Spiker - who make James wait on them hand and foot - is the pits. James' luck begins to change when he is gifted a mysterious bag of crocodile tongues that bring marvelous and magical things. One giant peach, five oversized bugs, and many seagulls later, James and his new friends are off on an exciting adventure across the Atlantic. This unlikely crew sails to new and fantastical heights, proving that courage and ingenuity can overcome all odds. (ages 4-10)

Nate Wright, a detention-riddled sixth grader (and drummer for the greatest garage band in the history of the galaxy, Enslave the Mollusk!) hopes to woo beautiful Jenny away from her boyfriend Artur by winning The Nicholodeon, the first prize in his schools Battle of the Bands. But when Artur and Jenny team up with Nates arch-rival Gina to form the sap-pop band, Rainbows and Ponies, hes gotta take his game to an all-star level. What will he do?

Little Monsters Performed by the Speak Out On Stage Ensemble Presented by the students of Imagination Stages Speak Out On Stage, Little Monsters features student performers from Grades 4-6. Something's just not right at A.B. Stoker Preparatory Academy: the children are unusually mean, there are strange noises everywhere, and the statues in the hallway seem to move when no one's looking. It's up to the first-year students to get to the bottom of things...before it's too late!

Ninth grade students from Montgomery Blair High School's Communication Arts Program will share their original plays with the community at the Takoma Park Community Center Auditorium. The students have created 10 minute plays that explore a diverse set of social issues including: the evolution of music, peaceful revolutions, technology (and its malfunctions) and more! Come and glimpse the perspectives of these thoughtful teenagers as they finish their freshman year with insight and passion. Admission is free of charge. Students will host a bake sale for a charity TBD.

Celebrating 35 years! Be a part of musical theater in a camp complete with dance, singing, acting and fun. Each workshop culminates in a performance for friends and family on Adventure Theatre MTC's main stage. Choose from 6 sessions throughout the summer.
